Recovering from the Tsunami

 

In December 2004 a tsunami caused a great deal of damage in Thailand. With the help of foreign aid, there was soon evidence of recovery. Hospitals and schools were rebuilt, roads were repaired, fishermen received financial help to repair their boats and tourism workers were encouraged to learn new skills.
