Read the paragraph and answer the question below.
Genetics and the Environment
There is no doubt that while some diseases do have genetic causes, others have environmental causes. However, genetic and environmental causes of disease usually cannot be isolated from each other. Most diseases, behaviors or characteristics are not caused only by genetic factors or only by environmental factors. For example, some children may be talented in sports or music, but unless the environment they grow up in nourishes that talent, it will never develop. Our genes influence our need to seek out other people and be sociable. But our environment has a strong influence on how actively we do this.
What do the two examples in the paragraph show? Choose 1 correct answer.
