The Need for Updated Resources

Data from the past decade indicate an increase in the use of technology across all socioeconomic levels. However, some surveys merely ask whether a computer is in the household, or whether access to the Internet is available. A positive response does not necessarily mean access to the latest computer technology. The person's computer may be over five years old or their Internet connection may be slow. No matter which side of the digital divide you are on, it is fair to say that keeping your resources updated is always going to be a concern.
