They say that a magician never reveals his secrets. If he reveals how he does his tricks, and people know his secrets, then his 'magic’ will not be fun to watch anymore.

A magician pulls a coin from behind a boy's ear. The boy is amazed and asks the magician to do it again. This time, instead of looking at the magician's face during the trick, the boy looks at the magician's hands. The boy sees that the magician had the coin in his sleeve and slipped it out just as his hand touched the boy's ear.

A magician has a set of cards which is missing the queen of hearts. He puts his hand behind a boy's ear and pulls out the missing card. The boy is amazed and asks the magician to do it again. This time, instead of looking at the magician's face during the trick, the boy looks at the magician's hands. The magician is wearing short sleeves so it is not possible to hide anything in them. The boy cannot understand how the trick is done.
