Assets are valuable things that people own. A will is a legal document which specifies how a person's assets will be divided up after he or she dies.

Read this paragraph and answer the question below.

Can You Solve This Puzzle?

Once upon a time, a man was very sick and he knew he was going to die. He wanted to die in his own house, not in a hospital. He knew his children would argue about how to divide his assets after he died, so he wrote a will and left very specific instructions about what would happen to his money. In his will, he specified that his wife would get half of his money and the other half would be divided equally between his children. Can you guess what happened?

Here's a clue: Read carefully what the will specified.

Choose 1 correct answer.

The wife decided to take all the money.

The father left specific instructions only about the money - so the children started to argue about the house and all the other assets.

The children were sorry that their father died and did not think about dividing his assets.
